Inspire Dance Schools Terms & Conditions
Enrolement here at Inspire is confimed by completting our sign up sheet, accepting the terms and conditions through signature and payment for the upcoming month has been paid.
Fee Payment:
1. Fees cover one full month. Discounts or refunds will not be given for classes missed by the dancer, unless explicity arranged with the Principal Katie.
2. All classes will need to be paid one month in advance, if a child cant make it they have the option to attend another class on another day.
3. An invoice will be given out a week before the new month and will need to be paid by the 1st of the next month in order for your child to take part. Any late payments a £5 fee will be added.
4. If an invoice isnt given please inform the Principal Katie.
5. We only accept card payments via bank transfer for all classes, uniform etc no cash will be accepted. If you need the bank details please ask the Principal Katie.
6. All fees are non- refundable. If a pupil has a long term illness or i jury, fees may be refunded at the Principals discretion. This does not include minor illness or holidays taken during the term.
7. Siblings will recieve 10% off fees.
Classes and Attendance:
8. On a rare occassion that a class is cancelled, it will be rescheduled usually during school holidays. If this is not possible, any fees already paid for the scheduled class will be subtracted from the next months fees.
9. The school will not be held responsible for classes cancelled for circumstaces beyond the schools control. If its neccessary to cancel a class due to adverse weather conditions/ a force majeure or if a child cannot class due to another Inspire Dance Performance/ exam/ event class will not be refunded;
10. Students must be on time to class, and picked up on time. If going to be late pleased rop one of the 3 teachers a message sothat we are aware.
11. Any child left unattended at the end of their class will be kept inside the building, but we may be unable to supervise them at all times if another class is taking place. Parents/guardians understand that if they are late picking up their child, their child wont be supervised and they take full responsibility for the childs saftey and wellbeing should anything happen to them after their class time has ended.
12. Students of primary school age must be collected from the waiting room/hall/exit by parent/guardian or responsible adult. The teachers must be informed if persons other than the childs parent or legal guardian will collect the child. Students under this age wont be permitted to leave unattended.
Withdrawel Policy
13. Students wishing to discontinue their classes at the school must give 2 week notice in writing otherwise 2 weeks fees will be charged.
Corrections:
14. Dancing is a physcial skill and in order to help and facilitate the students learning, our teachers may physically guide a movement by touch. This will be in a professional manner and the intention of contact will be made clear. Please let one of our teachers know if you have any quieries about this.
Uniform & Apperance:
15. When enrolling each child into our classes you get a 4 week leway to order uniform after that month you need to purchase at least a t-shirt. This if for all of our students to feel as one, tidy and feel confident in there surroundings.
16. All black or uniform is complusory for each lesson.
17. Hair must always to be tied back and out of the dancers face.
18. All Contemporary & lyrical classes to be in barefoor or the use of toe thongs can be used.
19. All Acrobatics classes need dancers to be in barefoot only.
20. All street dance classes need trainers.
Teachers:
21. All Inspire teachers are industry-based professionals to instruct classes. At tines scheduled teachers may not be avaliable due to personal reasons or illness a replacement will be provided with equal or greater qualification.
22. Due to the nature of entertainment industry and the high standard of teachers employed at Inspire, teachers may rotate and chnage at the discretion of management.
Duty of Care, Saftey & Conduct:
23. Inspire Dance school provides the saftey and care of students whilst on the premises.
24. Inspire aims to take responable care to esnure the acts of omissions do not cause reasonable unforseable injury to students.
25. Inspire Dance School doesnt accept responsibility for students saftey outisde the premises.
26. Inspire Dance School and its service providers attempt to minimise any risk of personal injury within practical boundaries, however accidents do happen, and all physical activities carry the risk of personal injury.
27. All students and parents/guardians acknowledge that while every care and saftey measure will be taken, there is an inherent risk of personal injury in physical activities that will be undertaken at the studio as part of the programme and accpet that risk.
Damages:
28. Responsibility for damage, all parents and guardians are responsible for any damage caused by their child or dancers during classes or events. This includes but is not limited to damage to walls, floors, furniture and any decoration.
29. Repair costs, the cost of repairs will be assessed and billed to the responsible party. This includes cost of material, labour and any necessary profesional services.
30. Respect for property. All dancers and guests are expected to treat their facitlies with respect.
31. Repeated incidents of damage may result in displinary action including possible removal from the dance school.
Responsibility:
32. Inspire Dance School does not accept any responsibility for the damage or loss of goods left on the premises prior to, during or after dance class.
33. The student and their guardian are solely responsible for their personal belongings and property whilst left on the premises.
34. The student and guardian shall make no claim adversly impacting, causing hardship or undue stress on Inspire Dance School as a result of there actions.
Photos & Videos:
35. From time to time we will take photos of students in class. These will be used to send to you or post on our socials and wesbites.
36. By enrolling your child into Inspire you acknowledge that photos/videos may be taken and used for this purpose.
37. Inspire Dance School may also take photos/videos as part of advertising purposes to be used on social media, websites and print.
38. You may withdraw consent at any time with written notice.
39. We reseve the right to request no photos or videos to be taken by parents in class.
Breach Of Terms & Conditions:
40. Pupils will be asked to leave without notice of any serious breach of the schools terms and conditions or for any other serious misconduct.
41. Same for any parent/guardian who doesnt follow the tems and conditions it could also cause there dancer to be asked to leave.
Behaviour:
42. Bullying, harrassment or any form of inappropriate behaviour from you or your child at anytime is strictly forbidden and will result in immediate and pernament exclusion from Inspire Dance school.
Events Outside Of Our Control:
43. We will not be held liable for any failure to perform or cancellation of any event out of our control. We will use our reasonable endeavours to contact you as soon as information is recieved in these circumstances.
Trial Sessions:
44. Any student thinking about joining Inspire Dance School will be entitled to a weeks free of classes, we believe this allows new dancers to taster any session they are interested in and get to pick which ones they enjoyed!
